WO/500: L.M.S. 10-ton Standard Open Wagon, running No. 6835, Type B Handmade Scale Models, 1922-28.
There were a limited number of combinations in transfers for the running rumbers. So repeats on Type B models are quite possible. Running No. 6835 of this wagon, is also used for the WO/510 G.N. Box Van, the WO/521 L.M.S. Mineral Brake Van and the WO/545 Single Bolster Timber Wagon shown below.

WO/555: L.M.S. 30-ton Bogie Timber Trucks, running No. 7960, Type B Handmade Scale Models, 1922-28.
This model is constructed througout in metal, with the exception of the wooden bolsters.
The same wagon features in both 1923 Bassett-Lowke and the 1922/23 Leeds catalogues, providing further evidence of the links between the companies. At that time Leeds were supplying two locos for Bassett-Lowke and G.P. Keen was still Chairman of both companies. But the Leeds model is 11" long and the text in the Leeds catalogue specifically says that the wagon has been slightly shortened. So was the longer version also made by Leeds for Bassett-Lowke, or was it made elsewhere and then offered by both companies?
WO/562: G.W.R. 14-ton Bogie Milk Van, 'Siphon G.', running No. 1332, Type B Handmade Scale Models, 1922-28.
A very early factory made model of the Siphon G Van. There are extra details added like the roof rain strip. The one pictured in the 1926/27 catalogue is a simplified version of this Van, to reduce cost.
WO/565: G.W.R. Standard Cattle Wagon, running No. 27498, Type B Handmade Scale Models, 1922-28.
The white paint on the lower planks of a Cattle Wagon is a factory applied effect to represent the bleaching of the paint by the washing out of cattle urine and faeces. Leeds offered both the clean version of this wagon and with white daubs here and there. On this wagon there might have been some extra applied by an owner.

WO/200 or WO/202: N.E. 10-ton Goods Brake Van, running No. 71911, bauxite, 1923-36.
The N.E. Brake Van litho survived from the first pre-grouping issue through the grouping. It was WO/200 when it was listed in the pre 1930 catalogues with the other pre-grouping litho Brake Vans (L.N.W.R. and M.R). But from 1932, when the other post grouping litho Brake Vans (L.M.S., S.R. and G.W.R.) were introduced, it became WO/202. It is the very same litho however that was used throughout.

1937-1959: True Scale Models, bakelite-, wooden- or tinplate bodies.
In 1937 LMC announced a new range of True Scale Models, the bodies of which were made of a moulded material. LMC was as far as is known the first company to use Bakelite for the production of railway models. The pre-war versions of the Freight Vans and Mineral Wagons were made in self-coloured Bakelite. After the war all bodies were black and the livery was painted on.
5 versions of the Mineral Wagons and 6 versions of Freight Vans were supplied in 1937. By adding details as ventilators, brake pipes and transfers to the Freight Vans, including variation of the running numbers supplied, LMC again tried to make the widest possible range at minimum costs.

A factory made BR Van. The number is one of the LMS series numbers (see WM/1 LMS Standard Mineral Wagon). It is possible that the van was either sold or customer modified in BR times, to look BR, by removal of the LMS 12t part of the transfer. The 'FISH' is a factory transfer.
WF/50: L.M.S. 20-ton Express Goods Brake Van, running No. 760324, bauxite, True Scale handmade Goods Brake Vans 1937-38/39.
To support the range of the bakelite stock, LMC had to upgrade the range of litho Brake Vans. In 1937 LMC released three hand built Brake Vans. These were hand-made in wood and tinplate. The model is depicted in the catalogue in a light colour but the actual van is finished in bauxite. The van is also depicted in the catalogue with large LMS lettering, but on the actual model "LMS" is in very small letters, positioned on the left-hand side between the horizontal grab rails.
SSD/1: B.R. 20-ton Express Goods Brake Van, running No. M60524, bauxite, True Scale handmade Tinplate Brake Vans 1948-59.
The shortage of material after WWII forced LMC to upgrade the range of hand built wooden Brake Vans. These were made in tinplate only.
SSD/1/S: L.M.S. 12-ton Goods Brake Van, running No. 604707, bauxite, True Scale handmade Tinplate Brake Vans 1950-59 (Hans van Dissel collection).
A further version of the model was primarily to go with the goods train set. This was also made in tinplate, but was shorter (130 mm) compared to the (170 mm) for the standard Brake Van.
